Ajay Srivastav

Ajay Srivastav is a critically acclaimed roots musician who writes uplifting songs of protest and change that reflect the life and lessons of a British born artist of Indian heritage.

His unique slide guitar style is layered with inflections of sitar and sarod, merging techniques from classical Indian music with delta blues.

A seasoned musician and performer, Ajay has played guitar in the studio and on stage with diverse range of artists including Gregory Isaacs, DJ Ritu, Jah Wobble and Zakir Hussain. He has a fantastic new album due out in Spring 2027, and is available as a duo with Vinod Kerai on tabla, or as a full band.
