Award winning songwriter Serious Child lives an old wood in West Sussex, where he writes folk pop songs that explore the world around us with a poet’s ear for emotion and a comedian’s eye for everyday detail.

His most recent release Veneer won Single of the Year 2025 on Finding Land Folk Show, and his previous Talk About The Weather (with Andy Ruddy) was shortlisted for Fatea Album of the Year.
